A rota for staffing agencies
An agency organisation in Shiftbrook places people on client sites, invites the client to approve the hours, and then locks those hours. It is the same paid price as any other organisation. There is no separate agencies plan and no revenue share.
Clients, sites and approvers
Turn the organisation into one that places staff, add a client, then add a site for that client before you invite an approver. The approver is a client user. They do not clock in, and they do not submit a timesheet. They approve or decline the hours for their sites, and a comment is required. After they approve, the agency locks the hours. Client sign-off is on the paid plan. You can add clients and sites before checkout.
Approvers are free and are not counted towards the staff total. The people who count are the workers you place, plus anyone else who is an active member, and open invites on the free plan. Leavers do not count. The price is £3 per active person per month in GBP, with a £15 minimum, on the same book as an employer. Do not quote a second rate for agencies. There is not one.
What the client sees
A client approver sees the hours for their sites, not another client’s week. They are not a manager of your whole rota. Placing someone is a step on the client site: the person, the site, and the shifts you publish there. A draft is still hidden from staff until you publish it. An open shift is a gap with no name, once it is published.
Clock-in, if you use it, still needs a pin on that site. The default radius is 100 metres. The client does not become the employer inside the product because they approved a week. Employment status is the contract, not a button. Holiday, rest and sick pay still depend on whether the person is a worker or an employee, and of whom. This page does not decide that.
Hours out, pay stays out
Approved hours download as a CSV. Sending approved hours to Xero Payroll UK is not available until that connection works end to end. Shiftbrook does not raise an invoice to the client and does not take a fee from the worker. Locking the hours means the week is agreed. It does not move money.
The free plan covers up to 5 staff and one location on the first organisation. Past that, the paid plan is £3 per active person per month, with a £15 minimum. A 14-day trial of the paid plan does not ask for a card. When the trial ends, the organisation returns to the free plan. The paid-plan API can read people, locations, shifts, leave and approved timesheets, and it can send webhooks when a shift is published, leave is approved, a timesheet is approved, or a person is created. That is documented for developers. It is not a back door that sends payroll.
Questions
Is there an agencies price?
No. Agencies use the same paid price. Client approvers are free and are not active people for that price.
Can the client sign off on the free plan?
No. Client sign-off is on the paid plan. You can add the client and the sites first. The 14-day trial of the paid plan does not ask for a card.
