The round lives in someone’s head
Early offices and evening shops are agreed by text. When someone is off, the cover is whoever picks up, and the week itself is missing.

Publish who is at which client, and when. Cleaners see the cleaning staff rota on their phone, clock in by the site pin, and you approve the hours.
Free for up to 5 staff. A 14-day trial needs no card.
Early offices and evening shops are agreed by text. When someone is off, the cover is whoever picks up, and the week itself is missing.
A sign-in sheet at the client can be filled in later. You need the punch at that site, at that moment, not a story at the end of the week.
Approved hours should be a timesheet, not a total typed from memory before someone asks what you are billing. The bill itself stays outside.
What you get
Each visit is a shift with a site, a start and an end. Saving can warn you about the 48-hour average, short rest and a missing weekly break. The warning does not block the save. There is no automatic round.

Cleaners request holiday from their phone. Leave and sickness sit on the week, so you can see who is off before you confirm a dawn clean. A sickness reason stays private.

Staff submit the hours, you approve them, and the approved hours download as a CSV. Approved hours can be sent to Xero Payroll UK as draft timesheets on the paid plan. Shiftbrook does not approve a pay run, and it does not raise an invoice.

The cleaner clocks in on their phone. The punch is checked against the pin for that site, at that moment. The default radius is 100 metres, set from 25 to 1,000. The phone is not tracked between punches. There is no photo.

A cleaner scheduling app is the phone, the pin and the approved hour.
You see every site and every approved hour. The free plan is one location and up to 5 staff. Further sites are on the paid plan.
You publish the week, cover a gap with an open shift and approve the timesheets before the hours leave as a CSV.
You see which site and which time on your phone, request leave, ask to swap and clock in when you arrive.
An example day. Names and times are for illustration.
6:00
The cleaner clocks in at that client’s pin. The punch is the record of that moment, not a trace of the drive in between.
7:30
The next clean is another shift, on another pin. The week shows both. It does not draw a route.
9:00
You record the sickness, keep the reason private, and publish an open shift for the site that is still uncovered.
16:00
You approve the timesheet. The CSV is the hours. The quote and the invoice stay outside Shiftbrook.
One organisation, one location and up to 5 staff, for as long as you like.
The 14-day trial of the paid plan does not ask for card details.
When the trial ends, the organisation returns to the free plan.
The paid plan is £3 per user per month, with a £15 minimum.
Shiftbrook is the rota, the punch and the approved hours. It is not the cleaning business system.
It does not price a job, send a quote or chase a client for money.
It does not raise an invoice. Approved hours download as a CSV for whatever you use to bill.
The punch proves the clock-in at that moment. The phone is not followed between sites.
It does not order the visits or estimate the drive. You publish the shifts.
The free plan is one organisation, one location and up to 5 staff. Each further client site is a location on the paid plan, and the 14-day trial includes those locations. Each site needs its own pin. There is no punch against a site that has no pin. People who have joined, plus open invites, count towards the free limit of 5.
An early clean and an evening clean are shifts, with their own start and end. An adult day of more than six hours is one 20-minute break under the usual rule, not a break every six hours. Copying last week repeats that week. It does not build a round, and it does not fill a gap until you publish an open shift. Saving the week can warn you about 11 hours between shifts, the weekly rest and the 48-hour average. The warning does not refuse the save. This page is not legal advice.
Clock-in compares the phone with the pin at that moment. It does not take a photo, and it does not follow the cleaner between punches. That is the record you can point at if a client asks whether someone arrived. It is not a tracker, and it is not proof of the work that was done inside the building. The approved timesheet is the hours. Pay, the quote and the invoice stay outside.
A cleaner you employ is a person in your organisation. If an agency supplies the cleaner, that worker stays on the agency account, with the agency’s sites and approvers. Do not keep a second payroll for someone else’s staff inside your week. Your rota is the people you invited. Open invites count towards the free limit of 5, and leavers do not.
They clock in on their phone. The punch is checked against the pin for that site, at that moment. It is not continuous tracking, and there is no photo. If the pin is not set, clock-in stays closed.
Yes. Each clean is a shift with its own site, start and end. The free plan is one location. Further sites are on the paid plan. The product does not plan the route between them.
Yes. Published shifts are on their phone, including the site and the time. Drafts stay hidden until you publish. They can also subscribe the shifts to their own calendar.
Staff submit the hours, you approve them, and the approved hours download as a CSV. On the paid plan they can be sent to Xero Payroll UK as draft timesheets. Shiftbrook does not approve a pay run.
No. It does not price a job, send a quote or raise an invoice. It records the rota, the punch and the approved hours.
