Who can do this. Only an owner or an administrator can change the Line manager, HR and Administrator switches, including their own. Line managers and HR see the switches read-only. HR access is on the paid plan. Only an owner can change Works shifts.
- Open Team and the person's name.
- Under Employment, an owner or an administrator switches Line manager, HR or Administrator. Each one saves straight away and shows Saved. Line managers and HR see the same switches and cannot change them.
- Line manager can approve leave and timesheets, and edit the rota for their reports. HR is independent of the other switches. Turning Line manager off while people still report to them asks you to pick a new line manager for those reports first, or unassign them.
- The owner shows an Owner badge and Full access. Line manager, HR and Administrator stay on and cannot be switched off. They can be chosen as a line manager, and they can approve leave and timesheets for anyone else. Transfer ownership asks you to type the person's name.
- Works shifts starts off. Switch it on to show the owner on the rota, clock-in, timesheets and leave. It does not change who is billed.
