Set up an authenticator

Turn on an authenticator app and save the recovery codes. They are shown once.

Who can do this. Anyone signed in, under Account, then Security. An owner can require it for admins.

  1. Open Account, then Security.
  2. Under Authenticator, press Set up authenticator.
  3. Scan the code, or enter the secret, then enter the 6-digit Code and press Confirm authenticator.
  4. Save the recovery codes. They are shown this once. Press I have saved these codes. Turn off authenticator is on the same card once it is enabled, and it asks for the code.
  5. An owner can require admins to set one up before they use the rest of Shiftbrook. The heading is Admins.
