Connect Xero

Connect Xero, match people, and send approved hours to Xero Payroll UK as draft timesheets.

Who can do this. An owner or admin on a paid plan. A complimentary organisation counts as paid.

Open Settings, then Integrations, then Xero Payroll UK.
If a Xero organisation is already connected and it is the wrong one, press Disconnect.
Press Connect Xero and approve the request in Xero.
If several Xero organisations are listed, press the one that has Payroll UK.
Press Refresh people from Xero. People with the same email are linked. Press Match or Unmatch for anyone left.
Choose the ordinary earnings rate and the overtime earnings rate, then press Save earnings rates.
Choose the pay period, press Preview, then press Send draft timesheets.

Does sending hours approve the pay run?

No. Shiftbrook creates draft timesheets only. It does not approve a pay run, and it does not calculate tax.
