Read the free plan limit

The free plan is 5 people on the first organisation, one location and one department.

Who can do this. The owner sees the count on Billing. Locations and Departments show the same limit.

Open Billing. While you are on Free, the line reads Active people, then the count of the free allowance.
The free plan is not charged. A smaller paid team is still billed for the minimum number of people.
On an agency, £5 per active worker per month, with a £25 minimum. Staff and managers count. Owners, admins, HR and client approvers are free.
An invite or import past the free limit does not silently drop the person. Import marks the extra rows Over the Free plan limit.
When a trial ends, Who stays active lets the owner choose who remains, then press Save who stays active. Everyone else stays paused, with their history kept.
