Help · Sickness and Bradford Factor

Switch on the Bradford Factor

The score stays off until an owner or admin saves it. It is context only, with no warning level.

Who can do this. An owner or admin switches it on. Owners, admins, people with HR access and the person's line manager can see a person's score. The person cannot.

  1. Open Settings, then Privacy.
  2. Under Bradford Factor, tick Bradford Factor.
  3. Press Save.
  4. The score is approved sickness over a rolling 52 weeks: spells squared, times the days. Nothing is emailed.
  5. Reports show a Bradford column on Absence only after this is on. The column is the rolling 52 weeks, not the report dates.

Does the Bradford Factor decide that a pattern is unfair?

No. It is a number for context. There is no warning level, and it does not tell you to act. Talk to the person before you use it.
